		<description>I think 8 might be a bit much.  An underrated aspect is tickets and attendance.  If your team is in the top 3 seeds, especially in a 16 team playoff, what are the odds of you attending the 1st round, unless its at home, which is unfair.  Most people (much less students) can afford to travel several weeks in a row to follow their team around the country in a playoff.  There would be people who would go, sure, but I think it would take away some of it too.  I&#039;m all for the 4 team play, or +1 format.  Just take the top 4 teams from the BCS and 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3 and the winners play each other.</description>
